Resort Policies

• A staff member lives onsite at the main Hayhurst Lodge for all your needs
• Please respect the property and its entities
• Be considerate of other guests when sharing amenities like the BBQ, Hot Tub, Kitchen, Sauna
• Quiet Hours: 10PM - 9AM
• Children under 18 must have adult supervision at all times

The lodge has become an escape for couples looking to relax, unwind and reconnect. Please consider carefully before booking your stay and bringing children under 6, who may not sleep through the night.

• Check in: 3:00 PM
• Check out: 10:30 AM

Payment/Deposit

• Accepted methods of payent: Credit cards and cash. No checks accepted. 
• A damage deposit is required for special events. The damage deposit will be refunded within 7 days following check-out after assessmnet. All guests are responsible for broken or damaged property.

Cancellation Policy

Hayhurst Bed & Breakfast is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at your earliest convenience 208-653-2135 

We have two cancellation policies:

1. Individual Rooms not associated with an Event (event being a wedding, family reunion, holiday, peak season, etc.) Reservations cancelled more than 30 days prior to arrival date forfeit $50.00. Cancellations within 30 days of your stay will result in a charge for your first nights stay unless it is during our peak season (described below) During our busy season you may be asked to cover your entire stay if we cannot rebook the room.


2. Peak Season and/or Special Events - Weddings, family reunions, groups, and stays during our peak season are subject to special rules. Peak season includes: Christmas/New Years, major holidays, and events/groups during the months of February, June, July, and August. Cancellation during these times or events with less than 90 days notice will result in the loss of your deposit and we will expect you to pay the full amount of your stay unless we can book other guests into your rooms.

Please understand that during our busy seasons we turn away numerous other reservations to hold your room. If you have to cancel and we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund may be made. We may be able to accommodate a change in date; call to discuss.

Minimum Stay

• No minimum stay for reservations Sunday through Thursday.
• 2-night minimum requirement for stays on Friday or Saturday night during the peak summer season July through September.

Cleaning Fee

• There is a $100 cleaning fee associated with the Cottage Cabin rental.
• There is no cleaning fee for the B&B rooms. 
• All guests will be subject to special cleaning fees, if the room or rental requires an unusual amount of time to clean.

No Smoking

• No smoking or chewing tobacco inside the property/on the deck and patios
• There are designated smoking areas  
• A $250 fee will be charged if evidence found of smoking in rooms
  
• Ilegal recreational substances are not allowed on all Hayhust properties

Pets

• No pets or emotional support animals are allowed
• Service animals are allowed
• Owners who bring pets will be charged $250 and asked to leave  

Meals

• Breakfast included with overnight stay at the Lodge
• Breakfast NOT included if staying in the Cottage Cabin or the A-Frame, but you CAN make a reservation and join us.
• Breakfast is available to the public with advance reservations. 
• Kitchen and BBQ available for guest use
