Hayhurst Bed & Breakfast is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us.
guests are expected to respect the facilities, property, and furniture. Be considerate of our other guests i.e. sharing tv, hot tub, sauna, kitchen, BBQ, etc. Respect the quiet hours. Children should be supervised at all times. No child will occupy a room overnight without an adult present.
Absolutely no smoking or chewing tobacco inside the Bed & Breakfast/Cottage, on the decks or on the patios. There are designated areas for smoking with ashtrays. Smokers must dispose of smoking material in the proper receptacle and not on the grounds. A $250 cleaning fee will be charged if we find evidence of smoking inside the B&B or Cottage.
No pets. Service animals are allowed. Emotional support animals are not allowed.
Pets are not allowed due to the allergy and sensitivities of many of our guests and due to noise concerns. Service animals are allowed. EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Please leave your pets at home so that our guests can enjoy their stay with us. Pets behave differently in strange places than they do at home.
Owners disregarding this policy, in the B&B or Cottage, will be assessed a $250 cleaning fee and will be asked to leave.
Overnight guests at the Bed & Breakfast will enjoy breakfast with their stay. Breakfast is not included for guests staying in the Cottage. Guests may use the guest kitchen or BBQ grill for their lunch and dinner. Guests are required to clean-up after the use of the guest kitchen and BBQ grill to avoid an additional cleaning charge. Local cafes are located in Pine, Featherville and Fall Creek.
Normally, a deposit of half of the total booking is taken at the time the reservation is made. If the reservation is many months out, a smaller deposit is taken.
We know life happens and plans change. We try to be as accommodating as possible but recognize that cancellations close to your stay can be costly. A $25 booking fee will be withheld from all cancellations.
We have two cancellation policies. Individual Rooms not associated with Special Events
(i.e. weddings, reunions, etc.) require two weeks' cancellation prior to arrival. Cancellations less than two weeks will result in a charge for your first-night stay. During the peak summer season (July through September) you may be asked to cover your entire stay if we cannot rebook the room. If we are able to re-book your room, we will refund your deposit.Special Events
(i.e. weddings, reunions, entire lodge rental for a group, major Holidays, etc.). Reservations made for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, MLK, July 4, Easter, Good Friday, Labor Day, Memorial Day require six weeks cancellation prior to arrival. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at your earliest convenience. It may be possible to reschedule your reservation. Call 208-653-2135 for details.
No minimum stay for reservations Sunday through Thursday. There is a two-night minimum requirement for stays on Friday or Saturday night during the peak summer season July through September.

Credit cards (MC, Visa, Discover) and cash. No personal checks accepted.
A damage deposit is required for special events, weddings, reunions, etc. The damage deposit will be refunded within 7 days following check-out minus any fees assessed. All guests are responsible for the broken or damaged property regardless of whether a damage deposit is requested.
There is a $100 cleaning fee associated with the Cottage rental. If the Cottage requires an unusual amount of time to clean, there may be an additional fee assessed.
There is no cleaning fee for the B&B rooms. If the B&B room requires an unusual amount of time to clean, there may be an additional fee assessed.
